Privacy

This site does not ask you for any personal data: there are no forms, no accounts and no mailing lists. We measure visits with Google Analytics.

What We Measure

We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google, to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, and records pages viewed, the device and browser type, how you arrived and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We see only aggregated reports; we do not use them to identify anyone and do not combine them with other data.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security.

How We Ask

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a banner first, and Google Analytics runs only if you accept. To show the banner only where it is needed, the page asks Cloudflare, our host, for the country of your connection; the country is not stored. Elsewhere, analytics runs by default. Wherever you are, “Cookie settings” in the footer lets you change your choice, and a choice is remembered in your browser for twelve months.

Advertising storage and ad personalisation are switched off for everyone: this site shows no advertising.

The GetYourGuide Calendar and Links

The booking calendars on many pages come from GetYourGuide and load on every visit, whatever you choose in the banner, because they are how you check dates. They set GetYourGuide’s own cookies and are covered by GetYourGuide’s privacy policy. When you follow a booking link, the same applies on their site. We receive only aggregated commission reports, never your name or payment details. To avoid the calendar, block widget.getyourguide.com in your browser; the booking links still work without it.

What We Never Do

We do not sell or share personal data, we do not show advertising, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from measuring your visits on any site. The site works the same without cookies; cookies set inside the GetYourGuide widget can be blocked too, and the booking still works on the partner’s site.

If You Email Us

Your message and address are used only to answer you and are deleted when the conversation is over. We never add anyone to a mailing list; this site does not have one.
